Ingredients

  • melted unsalted butter

    ½ cup melted unsalted butter

  • garlic cloves

    6 garlic cloves, crushed

  • Chopped fresh parsley

    0.5 tbsp

  • red pepper flakes

    0.5 tsp

  • dried oregano

    0.5 tsp

  • kosher salt

    0.6 tsp

  • lemon juice

    1 tsp

  • skin-on salmon fillets (about 1 pound total)

2 skin-on salmon fillets (about 1 pound total)

  • black pepper

    0.5 tsp

  • garlic powder

    0.5 tsp

Instructions

  1. 1

In a small pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the crushed garlic, parsley, red pepper flakes, oregano, and ¼ teaspoon of the salt. Let the mixture simmer over medium-low, stirring occasionally, for about 2 minutes, or until the butter slightly darkens. Stir in the lemon juice. Set the mixture aside to cool.

  2. 2

Line your air fryer with parchment paper, and preheat to 390°F (around 200°C).

  3. 3

Sprinkle the salmon all over with the pepper, garlic powder, and remaining 1 teaspoon salt. Arrange the salmon, skin side up, on the parchment in the preheated air fryer. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the garlicky butter over each piece.

  4. 4

Air-fry for 8–10 minutes, until the skin is crisp and the salmon is done to your liking.

  5. 5

Finish the salmon off with more garlic butter, and serve with extra lemon.

  6. 6

    Enjoy!
